Description

This South Australian 'Oddball' Nero d'Avola 2017 is a fruit driven red, bright purple of moderate depth, intense fruit and spice. The nose is driven by Black berry and cherry while the moderate alcohol makes for a red to be served chilled or at room temperature.

The producer of this sensational South Australian 'Oddball' Nero d'Avola 2017 is making some fantastic trophy winning wines from quality fruit sourced from the Murray Darling region of Victoria and the Riverland region of South Australia. The owner and head winemaker Alex has a simply philosophy with which we agree ‘grow great fruit and produce great wine!’

Comments from Our Wine Buyer: Here is something completely new for you to try and its awesome! This South Australian 'Oddball' Nero d'Avola 2017 is smooth and very easy drinking. If you have never tried one, then I suggest you give it a go. There is plenty of up front fruit flavours and a nice smooth tannin structure. It is a great food wine and I really enjoyed it with a rich pasta. This is a steal at $15 per bottle. The winery sells it for $25 per bottle.
